De-worming Program in South Africa

We invite you to join us in embracing a significant opportunity to enrich and empower the lives of nearly 6,000 orphaned and vulnerable children in South Africa. This July a World In View Service Team will facilitate a De-worming Program for our partner, Hands At Work In Africa, and WE NEED YOUR INVOLVEMENT! The De-worming Program is carried out twice-yearly and has a far reaching impact in the lives of the children who participate, as well as, their communities. 

How? 

– Overall health and school participation improves for treated children.

– Absenteeism is 25% lower participating schools. 

– Untreated children at schools and in nearby communities also benefit due to reduced disease transmission. 

Treatment for ONE CHILD = $1

This is an inexpensive solution and an easy way for us ALL to make a difference in the life of a vulnerable child. Please consider providing these essential meds for a child… OR FOR TEN CHILDREN – just ten bucks!

Also, please consider making a contribution towards the cost of a team member’s trip.  

Remaining financial needs for the program: 

$6,000 – De-worming meds

$15,000 – Team trip expenses

Please pray for the ten Team members that have volunteered their time to serve these vulnerable children! Donations may be designated towards the trip expenses of a specific team member.
